ITINERARY

DAY 1

CUSCO – “ABRA MALAGA” – SANTA MARIA (BIKING AND RAFTING)

We will pick you up from your hotel at 06:00 am in our private transportation and travel for an average of four hours to reach Carrizales or San Luis where we will begin our adventure, on the way we will pass through “Abra Malaga” which is at 4,300 meters above sea level. We will cycle down for an average of three hours to Santa Maria where we will have lunch. Along the way, we will see the typical vegetation of a cloud forest appreciating coffee plantations and coca leaves, until we reach the village of Santa Maria where we will spend the night in a guest house.
This day in the afternoon, we will have the option of canoeing (rafting) for 1 hour and a half on the Vilcanota River (Class III, IV).

DAY 2:

SANTA TERESA (ZIP LINE) – AGUAS CALIENTES TOWN.
AM after our breakfast, we will take our car to Santa Teresa for about 40 minutes. This morning, we will have the opportunity to do Canopy or Zip Line (monkey tail).
Then we will walk for 2 hours, we will observe plantations of coffee, coca and fruits like banana, orange, avocado, mango and observe some waterfalls, finally we can see the mountain of Machu Picchu, then we will go to Hidroeléctrica where we will have lunch, then we will walk for 02 hours more along the railroad line until we arrive to the town of Aguas Calientes, place where we will spend the night in a cozy hotel.

DAY 3:

MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Very early after breakfast (5:00 am. approximately) we will begin the ascent for an hour walk to the Inka citadel of Machu Picchu, this way we can be one of the first groups inside the Inka city which will allow us to enjoy the majestic sunrise, then we will have a guided tour of the most important Inka temples and palaces inside the citadel of Machu Picchu, with your guide for approximately 02 hours, then you can explore the mysterious Inka city on your own. (Optional climb to the mountain of Huaynapicchu extra cost $ 35 USD per person).
At the appropriate time we will descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes to board our train back to Ollantaytambo and from there by car to Cusco, our average time to arrive to Cusco will be 8:00 PM, then we will transfer you to your respective hotels.
