ITINERARY

DAY 1: SACRED VALLEY

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, we will pick you up to begin our fascinating journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, we will make stops at the impressive natural viewpoints of Qorao and Taray, where we can delight in panoramic views and gain enriching insights from our guide.

Our first archaeological gem on this trip will be the site of Pisaq, located approximately one hour from Cusco. Here, we will explore Inca constructions of great relevance, used as adaptation areas for agricultural products.

A two-hour guided tour will immerse us in the rich history of this complex before heading to the charming village of Pisaq, home to the most popular handicraft market in the area.

We will continue our journey to Urubamba, passing through picturesque traditional villages such as Coya, Lamay and Calca, which add an authentic touch to our experience.

Arriving in Urubamba at noon, we will stop to enjoy a lunch that will please our palates.

Our next destination will be the picturesque village of Ollantaytambo, known as the city where the Inca warrior Ollantay lived. This place preserves the original structure of his house, which we will explore at the archaeological site that bears his name.

Then, between 4:30 and 7:00 p.m. (depending on train availability), we will board a train at Ollantaytambo station bound for Aguas Calientes, where you will be free to enjoy dinner on your own.

Overnight: Aguas Calientes town.

DAY 2: MACHUPICCHU

SANTUARY OF MACHUPICCHU – AGUAS CALIENTES

Get ready to experience the most exciting day of our trip, as we enter the most important archaeological center in South America.

We will begin this great day with a delicious breakfast before boarding the bus that will take us on a picturesque 30-minute ride from the town of Aguas Calientes to the majestic archaeological site.

Once there, we will immerse ourselves in the enigmatic beauty and perfection of the incomparable Inca engineering that has elevated this place to the category of one of the 7 new wonders of the world.

During a 2-hour guided tour, a specialized guide will reveal the fascinating history of the site. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore independently and capture unforgettable memories with your camera. If you have booked with us the permits to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, our guide will provide you with the necessary recommendations to undertake this exciting adventure.

Trip to Cusco 2024 I was in Cusco for 4 days, traveling with friends, we visited Pisaq, Ollantaytambo, the archaeological park of Machu Picchu with the company Peru top Expierence. From Paraguay, the organization of the trip was in charge of the guide William Silva, super attentive to doubts and with the necessary information for the tour. In Cusco he welcomed us again and then we stayed at Prisma Hotel, good service. Then to go to Pisaq, to the train station in Ollantaytambo and to Machu Picchu, another guide from the company, Mr. Carlos Alfredo, accompanied us. In Aguas Calientes we stayed at the Andino hotel. Good attention. Good gastronomy in general, except the place called El Maizal that includes the bus tour to Ollantaytambo, from there they either change places or include a personal lunch in that day's tour. Super recommended @perutopexpierience to discover the wonders of Cusco! The flight from Lima to Cusco was by Jetsmart. Regular care. Many requirements for foreigners regarding luggage but not so much for nationals. They should improve that.

Inolvidable!! ;)

A great adventurous journey! If you would love to explore the surroundings of Machu Picchu but you're worried the 4 day hike might be too hard for you, this is the perfect option. We had a great time, beginning with the convenient and comfortable communication with our guide Manuel who supported us to organize the transport to the start of the treck and the hike itself was a unique experience that we don't want to miss. The hike itself rewarded us with the perfect first view on Machu Picchu on day one and we had the whole second day to explore the whole side more in detail. Accomodation, Food, Transport and a great guide is included in the price. Thanks to Manuel it was an great adventureous journey - thanks for that.
