OVERVIEW
The Perolniyoc waterfall is a hidden gem that offers us some of the best landscapes in the Sacred Valley and now you can mix this amazing hike with the adventure of riding quad bikes thought the Sacred Valley of the Incas!
Our adventure starts from Pachar, in Ollantaytambo, where we’ll start our quad bikes ride through the Sacred Valley roads until we reach the community of Socma where the hike starts.
Once in Socma is time to park the quad bikes and start our short 1h30min hike to Perolniyoc and the archaeological site of Raqaypata (also known as Perolniyoc ruins), on the top of the waterfall. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the views and take the best pictures before hiking back to Socma.
Our next and final stop will be the Archeological Center of Ñaupa Iglesia, an ancient Ceremonial Temple dedicated to the Moon, before finally return to Pachar to have a traditional lunch in a local house.
Before returning to Cusco, as your guide for a quick stop at Cervecería del Valle Sagrado to try the best local craft beer!
