TRIP OVERVIEW
Enjoy an exciting and fun excursion, in which we will visit the town of Maras, the old agricultural laboratory of Moray; and the spectacular natural scenery of the Salineras de Maras, with its hundreds of salt ponds. On the route we will have incredible views of snow-capped peaks, lagoons and huge mountains.

DESTINATIONS
ITINERARY
We will start our exciting excursion by picking you up directly from your hotel in Cusco.
In the morning, between 7:00 and 8:00 and in the afternoon between 13:00 and 13:30, we will board our transportation to the picturesque village of Cruzpata, where a unique ATV experience awaits. Here, we will practice for 10 to 15 minutes, making sure you are ready for the adventure that awaits us.
Once everyone is ready, we will begin our exciting adventure. Our first stop will be at Moray, a fascinating site with circular terraces that the Incas used to create microclimates and experiment with the cultivation of various crops. The history and architecture of this place will transport you back to ancient times.
After exploring the magic of Moray, we will continue our journey to the impressive salt mines of Maras. The road will offer panoramic views of the imposing Veronica and Chicon snow-capped peaks in the distance, painting a memorable landscape on our journey.
Arriving at the salt pans located on the mountainside, we will be greeted by a scenery of marvelous nature. The unique distribution of hundreds of small pools, crossed by a stream that feeds them with salt water, creates a picturesque and unique image.
We will observe how the locals carry out the millenary tradition of harvesting salt. Hundreds of staggered pools stretch along the hillside, each one representing the dedication and know-how passed down from generation to generation. Salt harvesting is an activity ingrained in the local culture.
After marveling at the salt pans, we will get back on our ATVs to return to Cruzpata. This exciting return will allow us to enjoy the freedom and excitement that this unique experience offers.
Once in Cruzpata, our transportation will be ready to take us back to Cusco. This final stretch will give us the opportunity to relax and reflect on the wonders we have witnessed during our day full of exploration. quadbike moray y salineras
